Their shoulder of lamb was probably the best I've ever had!
I would strongly recommend this dish to anyone. The meal was a bit sparing on gravy, and the mint sauce was served in sachets. And maybe it could've done with a few more potatoes, but overall it was spot on.
The pub itself was really nice, with plenty of outdoor seating.

Lovely service and beautiful pub. The food was ok but nothing quite like we had read on previous reviews.

Shame we were rushing for the train otherwise would have stayed longer for other dishes and more drinks, even chill in the beer garden.

But they were very helpful and gave us the fastest food option. Had fish and chips which came with good amount of tartare sauce and mushy peas. I had a lovely Snowdon Craft IPA. Both of which I forgot to photograph because we were thirsty from a weekend camp & hike and too hungry whilst rushing for the train.

Love the decor and pictures dotted around. Worth a visit it you venture to Wales!

Visited the Ship at 1830 hrs on a very hot Friday evening. Me , my wife and our dog sat on a table in the beer garden under the shade of one of the trees. Due to staff shortages, after ordering our food, we collected it from the nearby kitchen. Great starters and mains. Brilliant food and idyllic setting !

Exquisite food, very nice location. Parking and access for disable people. Plenty of places for children to run around.

Beautiful option to drive or walk to the top of the mountain

Me and my cousin spent a weekend in Trefriw and we were amazed by the quality of food and nicest service we've had for a long time! Definitely recommend, food was flavoursome and fresh, perfect ales, and the girl serving us did a great job- all you need after a day of climbing the mountains.

Amazing riverside tables in the summer, and a nice, friendly and cosy pub inside. I ordered the lamb shoulder and was not disappointed when what looked like half a lamb came out of the kitchen! Absoutly delicioius, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was sadly too full for desert!
