Since my last visit four months ago. The New landlords are trying to make this pub a more suitable place for the public. I enjoyed the food at Christmas the landlady was extremely helpful,her food was outstanding .I will add at all times the landlady and landlord were very helpful they made us fill very welcome very polite the service as stated was excellent extremely excellent. Hopefully the brewery will upgrade the pub for them,to make it ready for the summer. It needs to have a safe garden for parents with little children so that the parents can relax whilst the children can play. Plus the toilets need to be suitable for the customers. Well done. X

The food was amazing on Sunday. This pub could be great the staff are great. Not an ideal family place though so don't take the kids. Not somewhere I find relaxing put it that way.

This is a great pub in the heart of the Gabalfa community, it is a staple part of the estate that everyone thinks fondly of.
It offers a great and welcoming environment for families and anyone else who wished to visit,
They have a wonderful carvery on a sunday, it is a great spread that is often fully booked out every week, they have a live act on later in the day making the gunners the go to place for fun food and friendship on a sunday where you can relax and enjoy the community environment with a drink in hand.

Have been to a few places or had takeaway. This was far the best sunday lunch i had 6 choices of veg 3 meat selection lovely and hot. Brilliant service have booked for next Sunday.

Friendly staff and great for a quick drink and different from the usual places I visit.
