One of my favourite pubs.
Food still excellent after many years of occasional visiting.
A beer on comfy seats in front of the inglenook fireplace is just perfect.
The owners are always very friendly.

Wow what a fantastic evening, was celebrating my wife’s birthday and the staff went out there way to make it a special night.
Food and hospitality was the best ever and will always remember this birthday celebration..Thank you all very much ,🎂👍🏼

Situated at the upper area of Old Colwyn, the pub is ideal for a visit. Outside the pub is a large beer garden area with cover from the sun. Inside the old character of the pub stands out with plenty of areas to eat and drink. The range of beers is excellent. We were visiting for the Sunday lunch. The lamb, turkey, beef and nut roast were ordered. My beef melted in the mouth with enough veg to fill. Also the dessert were excellent and gluten free was available. I had cheesecake and ice cream and have no complaints. The prices were reasonable and the Sunday lunch was worth the money. Definitely worth a visit

Great food and homemade, never been disappointed here apart from one thing........ its so popular you can't get a late booking lol. Worth thinking ahead which is hard for us spontaneous people 🤣 but aside from that please go, you are missing great food and ambience

What a little gem this was. A really quaint old pub, all but joined to the local church.
Food was excellent as was the staff who were very helpful.

Great place for a nice quiet meal and outstanding beers due to the beautiful atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff.

Its also worth noting that you don’t have any manky dogs in the food part of the pub. There’s nothing worse than being in a place where the dogs are barking away while the owners are too busy moaning about everything else & not keeping an eye on their dog.

I will be revisiting soon 👍🏽

We went there for lunch. Its what I would call a traditional pub. Log fire on, proper pub food and a great atmosphere. Staff were really friendly. We really enjoyed our lunch there.
