Cosy fire in bar, new menu and new management. Friendly place well supported by locals. Great value carvery with big puddings if you're not too full!

Nice meal and friendly attentive hosts. Very clean establishment, the only thing we didn't like were the fake flowers on the table they were a bit in your face, use fresh or not bother. Some background music would have also been nice as the wait always seems longer when it's quiet. Would happily go again.

Lovely country pub, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Had a carvery, the staff accomodated my fussy son and cooked food for him that wasn't on the menu. spent time in beer garden then played a few games of pool. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely staff but I did feel a bit rushed by the waiter to finish so he could clear up even though it was just us and another table eating. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Everything was overcooked, soggy vegetables, burnt Yorkshire puddings roasties and parsnips. Will not be returning for Sunday lunch again. Hopefully this was just down to an off day and not the new owners.

My girlfriend and I were staying just up the road at an AirBnB for a couple of days and the host failed to mention this wee gem. It's true that the Plough and Harrow isn't quite a gastro pub yet, but if you're looking for some tasty grub, home cooked, by the log burning stove, with a TV, hosted by one of the nicest young couples going, at a bargain price point, then it's a great place to swing by. Expect a proper local country boozer environment and enjoy!

Welcoming and lovely wee pub. If we are ever back in Wales we will definitely pop In for a pint. So good to see a business recovering from the pandemic. Wishing you all the luck for the future!

Very pleasant meal. COVID compliant. At the time of our visit the pub was only serving basket meals however the burger and chips was lovely, as was the dessert. The pub does stock ale on bottles but not on draft

Lovely pub! Quiet, Covid safe, wonderful range of gins and rums, plus the best onion rings I've had in years.
