Really nice friendly pub! Everyone who works here is lovely and knows everything they're talking about. Definitely one of the best atmospheres of the holiday. Dog friendly too, they even have biscuits and a water bowl for them if you ask!

Worth booking if you can as it seems to fill up at peak times but they tried to fit everyone in if they could.

Food was amazing as well, especially the wood fired pizza. This place is 100% a recommendation if you're in the area!

Dog friendly, family friendly, the service here was fantastic!! We had just lost our tent to high winds, and everyone here went out of their way to welcome us! We were so impressed we went back twice! Great Sunday roast, the wood oven pizzas are amazing and you'd best book a table!!!

They were really busy but managed to fit us in, and I am so glad they did. The Sunday roasts are amazing, Lamb and Beef cooked perfectly and the gravy 😋 👌 really friendly and pleasant staff too.

Friendly staff and locals, food very good. Outside pizza area/wood oven being constructed will be good in the summer. Prices reasonable, will be back when next in the area.

Food absolutely terrible, pizza was more like pastry. personally been cheffing over the last 20years never had a young waitress come up with excuses. Chips were fried numerous times absolutely disgusting highly wouldn’t recommend not worth the stop.

Nice friendly staff and a good selection of drinks - Guinness was excellent. However, food was not great, my 'Gammon Special' was very average.

Visited with some colleagues for the Christmas menu. Food was excellent but we were disappointed that the table was not laid . A cracker or two ,some festive serviettes or a candle even would have created more of a festive atmosphere as it was the cutlery were just wrapped in plain serviettes and plonked on the table.
