Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere among the locals. Very dog friendly. Fantastic sea views at the back worth outside seating (unfortunately it is also the smoking area). Crab salad was superb and seafood linguini was good too only slightly over peppered. Nice panna cotta. Friendly service.

Best pub in the world. Incredible views and the best Sunday session around. I really love this pub. Barry is a legend

Went there from the Ship to see a live band and they were good too. Good company in the pub and nice view across the coast. They didn't have any food on because of lack of staff.

Only had beer here, good selection, and unlike the rubbish Brains pub down the road were well stocked. Nice atmosphere a mix of locals and tourists, great views from back of pub over Solva.

Stayed the night. Have stayed in a lot of pubs and don’t usually review them but The George charged a lot for the stay. The quality was not compatible to the rate charged. That said, the staff were nice and the pub was cosy with nice views.

Lovely pub at the top of the hill. Wonderful atmosphere and great, friendly staff. Large car park to the rear and two outside areas to sit in the sun. The accommodation is slightly dated but everything is clean and tidy

I write this with the heavy heart of someone who has spent his working life designing the souless pubs we have today, So If your looking for a no frills honest pub with friendly locals this is for you, great selection of ales and lagers, but with a limited menu, i had the gammon egg and chips which was delicious, if its the "looks like every other pub" then give it a wide berth to avoid disappointment.
A piece of pub history in my book, even my wife loved it.

We went on 27th June 2021. Although rather quiet we had to wait nearly an hour to be served. Roasts of lamb and beef were ok, but sadly vegetables and gravy only warm, and served on polystyrene plates, (appeared to be only us) with no apology or explanation as to why, so food went cold quickly which was not good. Place could do with a spruce up, and sole bar person seemed under pressure
