Coach & Horses Inn

We brought our dogs here for a doggy birthday party and some lunch.
The staff were really good and gave us a secluded part of the pub so that we didn’t disturb the other patrons.
We all stayed for lunch and a couple of drinks. The food was a lovely and arrived reasonably quickly. The bangers and mash portion size was absolutely massive!

We enjoyed our visit and really appreciated the enthusiasm and patience of the staff with us and our dogs. We’ll be back!

Stayed recently with my family. Had 2 spacious family rooms . All very clean & tidy . Comfy beds & great shower.
Our host Darren was really helpful & made sure we had everything. He cooks a mean breakfast which was huge . Thanks for a great stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful stay. Welcomed by lovely young lady upon arrival. Clean room with shared bath was great value. Small seating but great experience. all of Chepstow walkable and inn is near the castle. Owner greeted us in morning after breakfast with comment one of our party did mot finish our breakfast so would not be charged. Great service. Engaging conversation with owner was a delight. Highly recommend.

Just stayed for two nights at the beautiful Coach & Horses Inn. Highly, highly recommend. Our room was beautiful, the food absolutely delicious and plentiful. The staff went out of their way to help, welcomed us warmly, were friendly and simply wonderful. A thousand thank yous. We hope to be back one day!

A proper pub with so much character. Decent little selection of drink available. The food is out of this world! Highly recommend the coach burger. The young lady working behind the bar couldn't do enough for us and was very friendly and approachable. 10/10 experience couldn't fault anything, will definitely be returning

Quaint Pub with lodging upstairs. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. The room was small, and a super tiny shower but it was all we needed which suited us fine. We were surprised at how quiet it was given it was above the pub. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Highly recommended. Stayed for two nights to go the Rugby in Cardiff this weekend having read all the reviews. Staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful, food is fantastic and great value, Breakfast an absolute feast, lovely room and again amazing value, we will definitely be back. 😊

This is a lovely little local pub. The staff are very friendly and the food is great - I tried the Coach burger for the first time recently and thought it was brilliant - it was a very large meal, huge burger patty and a burger bun that felt like it might've come from a local bakery, that had melted cheese on top. Great value for money and good quality. I'd really recommend eating there.
