Great pub run by a great landlord, friendly and helpful staff. Great choice of beers and larger, spirits and wines, all at competitive prices. Live artists, pool and darts, a all-round great pub with a lively atmosphere.

Been my local for 20 years nice atmosphere,pool,darts,juke box and live music on Saturdays and some Sundays. Unfortunately it is currently closed (July 2018).RE OPENS ON JULY 19TH 2019.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, just a shame the singer was a little too loud! Nice to have the entertainment but also nice to chat, unfortunately you could not hear yourself think! Good variety of drinks, cannot fault the Merlin
