Me and my wife had gone to see are daughters first house. Asked her for somewhere nice to eat she said try the the red lion Inn. So glad we did. we was lucky to get a table as it was really busy. We sat in the heated outside bit which was lovely. Staff are really friendly. Ordered drinks and food which was really quick to come. My wife had gammon I had the burger both were cook really well 2 meals for £20 really find it hard to find better food. Would advise to book as it gets really busy and with the boss and all the staff being so friendly and top quality food I can see why. 100% recommended this place will be back soon thank for a lovely meal

A nice little pub tucked away from the main road, pleasant staff who took our order. The pint of Pedigree was on form & the Hog Father burger was tasty & filling. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great Sunday lunch. Really tasty huge helpings. Only had starter and main as no room left for dessert. It was busy and the staff were a bit over-worked. I would go again.

We met up over the weekend with family for the festive christmas lunch off the christmas party menu, the food was amazing and couldnt fault it. One thing i would say is slightly dissapointed that despite it being a prebooked festive meal there wasn't any christmas crackers on the table and the tables weren't set up with cuttlery (only wrapped cuttlery in a pint glass in middle of table) just didn't feel very christmassy which is a shame because the food was second to none.

I had the Turkey last night and was very impressed with my meal. Piping hot, substantial portion and very nice pleasant staff who I am sure were rushed off their feet but they did a great job. Lovely Christmas pudding to follow. Thank you and will deffo recommend xx

Beautiful food, went on a Monday night so menu was Monday night madness 2 meals for 24 pound bottle of House wine 12 pound , spot on

Excellent service ,food 9.8/10,only problem they couldn't get the heating to work we're we were sitting,don't like eating diner with coat on 3,/10
