. Pleasant staff . Nice food which was served quickly .. 2 of us had rump steaks which were nicely cooked medium rare not over done. Other 2 had chicken fillet burgers which were brilliant value huge size and had a nice sauce with them.. Would go again.

Excellent find, popped in here on the way to a hotel. Had the mix grill, everything cooked well even the steak and chicken which tend to be the downfall of most mixed grills. Attentive staff were willing to go and ask about ingredients when asked and altered my daughters meal so she could have chips instead of mash. Overall very happy

What a great pub, Graham and the team really looked after us during our visit yesterday lunch time. The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Scampi and Chips was great portion and even better value for money. The menu has a wide choice of options and lots of midweek offers

Great place .. good food.. great bear garden décor but right next to a busy main road over looking a fast food drive through but does not deter me
Sheltered outdoor smoking area with tables and good lighting.
Inside is very warm with pool table darts fruit machine..
Absolute lovely ...

Everyone had a different meal, all were served at the same time and cooked perfectly. The chips were the tastiest I have had in a long time. Prices were very fair for the meal sizes. The staff were friendly and service excellent. I will definitely be going again and do not hesitate in recommending this pub.

A bit of a mixed bag. We booked Xmas Dinner here after family said they do decent food. Starters came out in random orders and nobody could remember what they had ordered as we gave details in Sept. Overall everyone was pleased with starter. When main arrived there was one consistent thing, overload of gravy. I like to control my gravy dosage, as I like to taste all items separately. The way it arrived was a bit soupy. No Yorkshire Pudding either that's savage! Dessert was quite well received, everyone ate it,most enjoyed, my cheese and crackers was OK, I had request butter though. Drinks very consistent and very well priced. Think that sums it up.
