We went for a meal at the weekend and the cleanliness of the place was one of the most worrying things. We waited to be seated even though there was plenty of empty tables available, the only problem was they were all dirty. So I figured they must have been busy and continued to order outer meals. All the chips came out covered in black bits that looked like they had been cooked in dirty oil, and the fish was drowning in grease.
I took my little girl to use the restrooms and they were absolutely disgusting, they obviously hadn't been cleaned through the day and every stall needed cleaning. All in all we were very unimpressed and will not be returning again.

We had a lovely meal this evening! The staff are lovely and dog friendly! Even with our 8 week old puppy and chihuahua! Thank you so much!!

Oh my, the staff here went above and beyond! I wish I had taken their names because when we went to leave there were different staff on. (They will know when they see the photo I've posted)
They were lovely, happy to help and made my Autistic 11 year old grandson feel like he was on top of the world!!
I couldn't praise them enough.
Thank you 😊
On an additional note: The food was lovely and even though it starred to get quite busy it arrived in good time and was very tasty.

Nice looking modern pub/restaurant that sits right next to the travel lodge and the pavilion theatre. We visited the Sun Verge after a great night out at the theatre and was surprised to find it was last orders. They were actually turning people away which to me is ridiculous when you only have two people in the place anyway. We would of loved to have spent more time there as it was cosey, comfortable, the service good and the staff friendly.

Stopped off here for a bite to eat and ordered a chicken and bacon salad each from the table barcode. Very impressed with the salad which was well presented and quite filling. Disappointed that they didn't have hot chocolate for my wife but the coffee was excellent.

Arrived at 7.15pm for a meal. No Guinness or ale. Only cider or lager. Oh... and no food. Not sure why they are bothering to open especially when you're greeted by a board at the entrance on how to order your food. Looks inviting from the outside and I suggest that's where you should stay. Very poor.
