There are not many pubs that serve food as good as this. Large helping and fantastic value. Where else would you find a 16 ounce ribeye steak for £18. The lightly battered Hake was absolutely delicious. You have a choice of proper chips or jacket potato into the bargain. Both came with a lovely side salad. They also served a superb Laguntas IPA which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Very disappointing meal and service. We ordered a veg lasagne and although it took over half an hour to arrive, it was cold in the middle and clearly a mass-produced frozen micro wave meal that had just been heaved onto a plate. When we took it back, it was simply returned by a very ungracious member of staff a few minutes later on a clean plate, microwaved a bit longer than the first time and looking like slop. Next time we’ll book a table at The Valley opposite where they have the same dish home cooked from scratch for less money, and always with great service!

Very friendly staff, really helpful with sorting the cake we had brought for a birthday lunch. Good food variety . V tasty lamb burger. Good jerk chicken. Good portion size. Prawns a bit tasteless.. Wld be nice to keep outside seating more separate from the cars with more greenery.

Friendly and genuine service with really good beer made on site. The food is fantastic and really good value, the children meals are generous and the mains certainly fill an empty belly with great grub!

Good little pub in a great location. Fantastic drinks and snacks, didn’t have food there but it looks good so there’s an excuse to go back soon!

We stopped here after a walk to Pwlldu beach. We had the Hake in Jerk spices and the Hickory Chicken - both were as good as they look! Service was prompt and efficient, we were outside at a well spaced table.

I can also recommend their own brewed ale - delicious!
