Wow what can I say, such a lovely stay that I thoroughly enjoyed. Such excellent hosts, lovely clean rooms, warm, very comfortable bed and modern. The food in the evening was amazing along with breakfast. Such a beautiful gem to find and I will come again when in the area.

Serves a decent pint of ale in a cosy and friendly environment. Not much on offer in terms of outside seating but a good place to relax after a long walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Had a lovely overnight stop here. A very warm welcome, good beer and a tasty meal. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean. The full cooked breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. We will definitely return and stay more than one night

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Not particularly busy but a good friendly set of locals were in the bar. Good meal of scampi and chips, hot and well-cooked. Reasonable selection of beer and lager. Room was small, it was a "budget single", but good standard of fit-out and a comfy bed. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 5 couples we visited Saturday afternoon/evening and then returned on the Sunday for lunch. Great local pub, food was excellent and the company was better! A little Gem thank you for making our weekend excellent!

The food, the staff and the accomodation!

There really is everything to love about this venue!

It's been a long time coming but I finally made it and I will definitely be back!

So to start.. the food.. my word the food. I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of two full English breakfasts and two evening meals.. pizza one night and the sharing platter the next! I am a true foodie and I loved every single bite! Both the breakfast and pizza were the best I've had in a long long time and I highly recommend them!

The staff.. well what can I say!? Two incredibly inviting ladies that absolutely blew me away! Nothing was too much to ask, they were super friendly and so attentive! I wish I could have stayed for longer 💗

The accomodation was so lovely.. lovely cosy bed, tea and coffee, mini fridge, en suite toilet/shower room, TV, hair dryer and even a fan! I was so comfy in the bed I slept solidly and nearly missed breakfast 🤣

Genuinely I can't recommend this hidden gem enough and I can't wait to come and stay again 💗
