Brilliant as usual. A perfect local Welsh pub with everything you’d expect. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Food was lovely and many options for veggie/vegan/gluten free which was a big plus.
Always look forward to coming to the Tyn and it never lets me down. Best Moretti in North Wales!

Our first visit in 5 years for a lunch. The restaurant had definitely improved from then with a good selection. My daughter had the Chicken in Stilton sauce and my Wife ate the Fish and Chips both said it was excellent. Only missing the 5 stars by a whisker but will return again.

Nice food lovely views and setting. I think we visited at the wrong time as diners as there was a party in full swing so the staff weren't as attentive as they could have been. Hopefully that was just because they were busy. I would definitely try again 😊

First time here with a few friends. Place was clean and tidy. Main meal was served quickly. I had the lamb burger and my friends all had the hunters chicken, both were very good, cooked to perfection. Asked for dessert menus but the girl forgot so we were waiting a short while for them, then we all ordered the fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. It was served to us with mint ice cream instead, not a problem for me but two of my friends didn't like mint, I feel the staff should have mentioned this when taking our order. One suggestion I would also give is to move the table right next to the entrance/exit to somewhere else, as every time someone walked through it we were freezing. Overall I enjoyed my visit and will be visiting again.

This year my husband and I decided to go to a nice restaurant on Boxing Day for dinner. Our choice fell on the Tyn-y-Capel.
We were definitely encouraged by the price of a great set, for a three-day meal we paid £ 22.95 per person. The restaurant is located in the new part added to the old pub building. A quite attractive place, from the windows you can admire the beautiful panorama of the mountains. It was already dark and foggy (we will definitely come back to see this view for sure). The place is refreshed but rather modestly decorated. We did not wait too long for the meal, the staff has a little communication problem because earlier I sent our selection of the set by e-mail and on the spot it turned out that they do not know anything about it in the kitchen. For us, it was not a problem, we chose what we wanted once again, but in the future the hosts should pay attention to it, because maybe someone will write to them with some special dietary recommendations, etc.
First class starter, we liked it very much. Main course ok but somehow nothing special and delicious cheesecake for dessert.
The place is very clean, a bit off the beaten track so there are no crowds here.
