Caraway

Had a fabulous desert stop at The Caraway!!! Both my friend and I ordered the Apple Crumble and custard . It was pipping hot and probably way more than I should have eaten!! The coffee was also excellent. I will definitely be back!

Ok food. Didn't cook the steak as requested but other than that very nice. Burgers were cooked perfectly and value for money is average.

Children’s chicken burger came with more meat than the adults roast… the stuffing was tasteless, some of the carrots where soft (going off) before being cooked the red cabbage had no taste and the cabbage might as well not have existed.

Oh and the children’s food didn’t come as described as in the menu things like no salad or butter on corn etc ..

If your not going to do it properly don’t do it at all.

Visited for lunch today. Nice clean, spacious pub - pretty much the templated Marstons layout and menu. A mixture of seating type - tables, booths and sofa type seating. Also a reasonably sized beer garden and kids play area. The toilets were also clean and tidy.

Service was ok. Nobody checked if the food was ok after it was served. All cooked well and tasty though.

Good pub food, son enjoyed he pizza. Hunter's chicken was really nice just needed some more cheese and onion rings

We stopped here as we were passing through and when we arrived we were greeted immediately and advised a few items were not available.

Upon ordering we were told that we could not order pizza as the dough had not defrosted (at 13:40).

Several desert options were also unavailable.

Spent well over £50 I Had Prawn cocktail as a starter the prawns had a funny taste so didn't eat it, pint of tango tasted watered down when questioned was told that's what we serve the main came, I ordered a mega burger, and it was honestly like chewing on a old peace of rubber that you'd find on the street also sent the burger with sweet potato fries, when it should have been chips, I honestly wouldn't let my dog eat in this hole

Good food and good service. Service was prompt and the food had good portion sizes.
Great value for money. Would definitely return.
