Had an amazing evening at the Cockett Inn on 23rd. Fab barman called Sarge live music was great and what an amazing atmosphere. First time there and will definitely go back 😃😃😃

The Cockett Inn is under new ownership. It's clean and tidy with friendly staff and a good menu. If you haven't been back here for a while then give it a try.

The pub was busy but not packed. However, they were clearly understaffed as the drinks took quite a time to arrive. The food was good, but it did seems overdone.

This revenue is NOT for the Cockett Inn - I’ve never had Sunday lunch there. It is for the Beaufort Arms in Kittle. I don’t know why the pub name is wrong as I definitely reviewed the Beaufort……. Most definitely the worst Sunday roast I have ever had. The plated food - meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and gravy had clearly been sat under a hot lamp for some considerable time. The gravy had set, the Yorkshire pudding was flat and the potatoes, which were no bigger than small sprouts, were chewy. Talking of green veg, well there weren't any! Only carrots, swede and red cabbage. The only freshly served part of the meal were the carrots and that was only evident because they were almost raw. No one came to ask if everything was ok so when we left I told a member of staff that it was the worst Sunday roast I'd ever had to which she just replied "oh sorry!" I will never recommend this pub and definitely won't return. Only reason it has one star is because I can’t give it no stars!
