Pump House

Really nice, sat by the water and enjoyed the early spring weather with a drink and good food! The fish and chips were excellent, fresh & crunchy batter, lovely chips, my hubby had the burger with mozzarella sticks. Prices are also decent :)

Ordered steak medium rare and it came back well done. took it back amd within two minutes another overcooked streak burnt steak appeared. Unless you like burnt well cooked steak, avoid. Although they overcook the food, it is a great location, dogs welcome, kids menu is great and with friendly staff

Beautiful building in a great location on the waterfront in the maritime quarter, decent menu, tasty food & portions plentiful, friendly staff and a good range of drinks all reasonably priced. I had the cockles & laverbread for starters and lamb faggots with mash for mains - absolutely delicious :)

Amazing food, amazing service and a fantastic surroundings to dine in, food was beautiful and reasonably priced. Highly recommend it for a nice family meal out.

Food was fantastic so delicious. Arrived quickly and arrived hot. All the staff where lovely and friendly especially Toran she gave us a lovely warm welcome.

Really nice pub in a converted victorian pump house, as the name suggests! Good sized outdoor terrace too but it was a bit cold when we were there. Big portions of classic pub food, done well and nicely presented, at very reasonable prices. The kids meal was also great value. The service was good - our waitress was very friendly and the drinks and food arrived quickly.

13/11/21 - Booked a table in advance. Ordered drinks at the bar then had the option to order via the scan code on the table or a the bar remembering your table number. Pay cash or card as you order. Collect condiments (sachets) & cutlery from near the bar. Food was nice.

We were a group booking of friends meeting up for a post Christmas catch-up, as one of us had returned home from abroad, who we hadn't seen for over 3 years.

We had the upstairs of the restaurant to ourselves, which was great for us all to be able to talk properly.

I ordered my food via the app, very easy to do. Others went to the bar to order.

Great service from the bar staff, always smiling when bringing our items to the table. Even happy to take a group photo of us, on my phone.

My food was tasty (had hunters chicken), only negative was the chicken was a little dry and over cooked, however, it was still edible.

Was a lovely evening, and I think we are planning a return at the end of January.
