Absolutely amazing place! It’s a must-see! Be sure to look around all the rooms. There’s really so much to marvel at. We had a lovely lunch too. The lemon sole was delicious, so was the gravy. They have very many vegan options as well, and a few alcohol-free beers. Very dog-friendly. We highly recommend this place, both to eat and to visit for a drink.

So quirky and curious. The most unique pub I've been to (and I've lived in Bristol). Lovely staff and the menu looked superb (many vegan options too). Very much worth a visit.

Almost the entire menu has veggie/vegan options - including the drinks. We came after food orders stopped but the woman still accommodated us. 100% visiting again. Loved everything about this place

This by far the most eccentric and interesting pub I have ever had the pleasure to visit. If you had to pay an entrance fee to enter you wouldn't mind once you've got inside, from what felt like a old galleon through to the minotaur lair, this is an amazing and quirky place. The landlady and I guess her husband, who did the cooking, were so welcoming and lovely, the food was good but not over fancy, wholesome. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area, we were going to be out walking the next day up across Sourton Tor, we were told to look out for a flat stone circle, part of which had broken off and now formed part of their pub (we found it), and the landlady also drew us a map. The place is a must for anyone in the area, we hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

We brought our motorhome to stay overnight... I'd previously checked if this was okay and was told absolutely no problem! We had a warm welcome and had a delicious meal, a few drinks. No charge to stay over! Fabulous pub, quirky, delightful and cosy. Great stop over en route to Cornwall. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Unlike anywhere else you will visit. Delightfully weird atmosphere and decor, but great food and drink, attentive service and friendly attitude. First visit with our new rescue dog, they were very helpful finding a quiet table.

We popped in for a pint on our way back home. Utterly surprised by this incredible Inn! It's labelled as 'Britain's most unusual inn' and it doesn't disappoint. The service was fantastic too, very chatty and informative about the pubs history. Will definitely be returning!

Wonderful vegan only Xmas dinner menu. Food is superb and the place is just amazing!! Nice pint of bishops finger too!
