Only missed off a star as rooms aren't very spacious, which was fine for me, but a bit tight for the couple I travelled with, who are used to a King bed, they still have all you need, nicely furnished & decorated, good shower pressure. Only had breakfast, as attending family events, so can't comment on menu and as a vegetarian didn't have the full English, but what I had was nice. Pretty outdoor seating, on a road which is used all day, but not massively busy, green areas opposite.

My first time to this place, I can only say that if there was a 10 Star rating they would have got it,
The owner of the business was the first contact I had as I called to ask about parking and he had already reserved a spot for me, Then next was there customer care, I ate at there restaurant in the evening and the food was nothing short of perfection. The best "Sticky Toffee Pudding" I have ever had ! Luis our waiter was spot on and made sure everything was to the highest level of service.

Terrible service, mediocre food. Booked a birthday dinner for 5 of us. The table top was sticky, there were mosquitoes buzzing around us (indoors). The waiter who served us was terrible, lots of faux familiarity that was unwelcome. Tapas arrived along with an extra tapas dish that we hadn't ordered which we sent back. Then the paella arrived and it was the wrong one. We sent it back but then it was brought to our table a second time, still the wrong one! The waiter admitted his mistake but tried to get us to take it anyway. We declined and then had to wait 30 minutes for the correct paella to be prepared. They hadn't cleared our plates from the tapas so we asked for clean plates for the paella (not sure why we had to ask) so they took our cutlery and dirty plates away but did not bring clean ones. Finally the paella arrived and we waited for the plates and cutlery to arrive. Nothing. After 10 minutes I had to get up and go to the manager to ask for plates and cutlery. We also asked for a new server. The second server was much better and dessert and coffees went off without a hitch. We had a Rioja which was pleasant but £59. Overall the food was unremarkable and the evening was spoiled by the poor service. They took the paella off the bill and gave us a bottle of wine (that we didn't want as we had already got a bottle). Total bill for 5 (after the paella was taken off) was £222. Would not recommend

Great location if racing at Sandown. Quality of food was excellent but felt menu a little restricted because most of larger "main" tapas dishes required minimum of 2 people to order and as my hubby and I like different foods we struggled a bit. We had extra small dishes which were great but would have liked some of the larger items on menu. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in B & B. Room was really great and well maintained. Toasty and warm once we worked out the heating control. We definitely recommend.

My partners' family bought us a gift to have dinner, breakfast and over night stay at The Swan Inn.
We had some of the tapas. The ibérico ham was oddly presented, hand torn in to little shreds and dotted across the largest plate. The other dishes were just fine.

The paella, also included, was basically an unseasoned risotto. Where's the crusty base? Also surprised, and relieved, that there wasn't a seafood option.

Sticky toffee pudding for dessert, very good and as expected.
Breakfast the next day was simply okay, very weird beans and sausages.

Our room was at ground level and quite small. You can easily hear everything happening in the room above, the external street light shone through gaps in the blinds, and the bed itself wasn't that comfortable for me. The bathroom was roughly the size of the bedroom, and had nice decor.

Overall, I'm glad to have experienced this as a gift, I wouldn't have gone otherwise and it is unlikely that I will ever go again.

I was so looking forward to staying and eating here , as a friend recommended it.
Book it for the 31st and i can say the room was small but clean and cute.
The food for me was disappointig. So gutted.

And felt very uncomfortable.

So locking forward to it.

We had Boxing Day lunch at the restaurant. The food was mediocre and has definitely got worse since our last visit. Tapas dishes ranged from bland to inedible. Squid was so hard I couldn’t eat it, chorizo burger was dry and devoid of flavour, same for prawns. Churros came with watery cocoa instead of chocolate sauce (!). All this for £130 for two adults and a kid meal. The decor is lovely and clean, sadly we will not be coming back for anything other than maybe drinks.
