Excellent selection of bar meals, freshly prepared and generous servings. Dog was made to feel welcome. Good local real ales available. Glad we found it under "dog friendly pubs".

Great place with more tables than you think, a bit like the TARDIS :) Safe for coeliacs, happy to accommodate my gluten free and vegetarian request. Menu limited for those with allergies though. Staff amazing and knowledgeable.

Arrived early and sat and had lunch. The serving staff were great with us and the food was good. The issues were with the overnight stay. So we knew it was a pub and expected some disturbance (we thought maybe till 11pm). What we didn't expect was to be able to hear everything (laughing, shouting etc) right up till 2.30am. We were woken several times during the night with the above, bottles being thrown into bottle bins, a woman cackling loudly and generally loud noisy behaviour. Several times thought it was wrapping up for the noise to increase again. Others staying in the building were slamming doors etc too upstairs. The breakfast in the morning was cooked to order which was good.

Great little people and dog friendly pub. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, proper fire burning and very tasty food. A good place to go.

Landlady warm and friendly but meal disappointing (mash on Shepherd's pie overcooked and almost certainly supermarket ready made). We felt we were intruding on the landlord/chef as he watched a loud "how to" video at the next table. Not the comfortable intimate atmosphere we would have liked. We felt the landlady needed to know her best efforts were being undermined. A pity. We have been coming to Corwen and district nearly 40 years and have been to bryntirion before and enjoyed. Hopefully this review will be helpful.

Lovely family run pub.
We went in for a NYE meal while visiting and Bala and it's by far the best place to eat in or around Bala. The landlord and his wife were very friendly as were the rest of the staff. A nice meal and nice pint.
