Tried this gym out with a day pass early on a Saturday, wasn't overly busy by 9am.

Equipment was in decent condition, more options over typical gyms like puregym etc. It's essentially one large workout area with classes elsewhere.

A little old school as membership options are contract based and the one off rolling month fee is expensive at £40. 12months contract is £30p/m which is decent when you get a pool chucked in too.

Aircon currently broken at time of review so was pretty toasty, you're there to sweat though so no biggy.

0 issues on my one-off visit, would happily use again.

3hr time limit on parking which is plenty.

The variety of classes are good, but the Jacuzzis are no longer working and the steam room is currently broken.

I've also had some issues with the Everlast booking system which has made it hard to book classes.

The team are lovely, always happy to help though. If the problems were fixed I would easily give 5*

Both jacuzzi have been broken for 7 - 8 months now which is completely unacceptable! I chose this gym over other cheaper ones because of the spa area that is included in the membership and the jacuzzis are a big part of that if you want to relax. The pool is still open, but now way too over crowded because of the out of order jacuzzi pools. How this gym can continue to charge people the full amount despite one of the main facilities being out of use for so long is not right. Fix your jacuzzies or give a discount. I will not be returning here in the future.

Both jacuzzis out of action. Pool too busy to swim comfortably. Children's swimming lessons impact on gym members opportunities to swim both after work and at weekends. Beginning to show its age and looking shabby.

1 jacuzzi finally operational - for about a week, then out of action again. Pool temperature already dropping after initial warmth. Now single adult private lessons taking up entire lane, pushing faster swimmers into main body of pool...

I managed to get in the remaining lane for a distance swim (mile) on Tuesday 7th June. Another member joined the lane without having the good manners to ask first. She decided she was faster and stronger than me and proceeded to swim very aggressively, powering up and down, ignoring my protests. At one point, she actually swam OVER the top of me! She clearly wanted to bully me out of the lane. Staff seem either powerless or not bothered about this type of absolutely appalling behaviour.

Have now amended the timetable (7th July). 1st swim even worse, unfortunately. Aquarobics now in pool later, pushing members swim time along. Entire group came in and blocked 1 lane just to play and loing around. This forced 4 swimmers into 1 narrow lane - all different abilities and swim styles. Chaos!

Faulty gym equipment, broken ventilation for almost a year now, broken access system and non-functional website(not registering paid fees, messages are inaccessible etc). Called starting in October through to November all the while not being able to go to the gym. Chloe said she would follow up with a resolution to these unavoidable issues, never did. Contacted to cancel and suddenly Chloe starts lying that she has contacted me when is obvious she hasn't since I last called in November.
Avoid.

Have been a member for 2 years and since it was taken over by Everlast Fitness it has gone significantly down hill. If you want regular use of spa facilities forget it. Jacuzzi's haven't been working for at least 6 months, the steam room is hit and miss and the pool is currently closed as it is leaking. The showers regularly have ones out of order and take ages to fix. They say issues are going to be resolved but make no membership adjustment. The gym has 'equipment hoggers' and there has been little encouragement for users to wipe down equipment to stop the spread of Covid. I have now cancelled my membership and gone elsewhere and that has been a farce trying to do without incurring auto charges. I used to enjoy going to this gym but sadly it is not for me anymore.

Have been a member pretty much from the beginning when it was JJB.
The gym is a declining business with the amount of hands it's changed and effort in which the staff and management have in upkeep of equipment and facilities.

Feels like a cheap gym now. Was lovely when I joined.

Over the years have seen so many members lot due to nil effort by management in upkeep.
And the decline is continuing!

Air con been out of order for weeks now especially in the ridiculous heat we have experienced.

Jacuzzi's have been out of order for months.
Steam room doesn't get fixed properly!

When something is broken it doesn't get repaired for weeks on end (that's being polite).

They expect membership on time and no loyalty for members at all..

Myself and friends will be taking our business elsewhere purely because management DO NOT CARE WHEN A CONCERN IS VOICED!!
