Ab Salute Gym

This is the best value gym in Chelmsford with a lot of classic equipment which you wouldn’t find in any other modern chain.
Staff is friendly and endeavour to solve issues if need to be.
There is a free on-site car parking for members. I have been using Chelmsford gym for well over 2 years and hasn’t found any issue.

I've been going to this gym for few years.
It has decent equipment however it's absolutely filthy as no one seems to be cleaning the gym throughout the day. Toilets are disgusting so are the changing rooms. Most of the staff are unfriendly and make you feel unwelcome.
I left this gym for these reasons and I know a lot of people that also left because of this.

Loved the gym, was a member for over a year, would probably have been a member for many years to come. Sadly, got a parking ticket after forgetting to enter my reg one day. I felt like they couldn't have cared less, even though I was in the gym at the time. No help was forth coming and after emailing the manager and receiving no response it's just left a bitter taste. I feel as though if you go 5 times a week, 52 weeks a year, the likelihood is you're going to forget at least once, so it's an extra £100 I am not signing up for if there is no assistance when it happens. My appeal was also eventually successful with POPLA to those who end up in the same situation, but doesn't change how I feel about how the gym handled it.

What a Great Gym. They have every conceivable machine as well as loose weights.
A great bunch of people. If you want to build muscles and look and feel great, then it’s well worth a visit. I used this place to build up my legs for skiing. Highly recommended.

Good equipment. Only open till 5 on Saturdays. Also full of wannabe influencers with there silly little tripods scattered all over the gym floor.

Plenty of Equipment The Gym has 2 Floors New gym Equipment installed. Food And drink available Could do with few New Protein products staff are Nice overall 👍

Recently moved to Chelmsford and have got to say I visited most of the gyms in the area before I signed up to any and this by far was the best equipped gym. Atmosphere is amazing, staff are really helpful and the cleanliness of the gym is really good which is important for me.
