I'm goin to cover the good points, bad points and then my overall review.
Good:
*Price : Outside of any membership sales offered by other gyms, this is point blank period the CHEAPEST gym around. The price is really the key selling point for this gym as it's such a great plus.
*Diversity - Despite its size, this gym is pretty diverse in terms of the ratio of machines, classes and free weights available - it even has a little section for crossfit if you're into that.
*Community - this gym feels like its centered around catering to your general community member as opposed to your typical "get ripped quick" gym's which is good because the gym comes across as less intimidating and more welcoming for new comers. Its a gym that aims to cater to everyone and it I think it does a good job of that.
*Customer service - the customer service here is pretty good. Staff are friendly and quick to help you with whatever you may need help with.
Bad:
*Size: This gym isn't really big at all, it's all on one floor and there aren't a wide range of machines available, although they atleast try to have 1 of each key machine. The size factor is made worse when you take into consideration how packed it can get during peak hours.
*Ventilation: There are NO windows in this gym, so prepare to breath it recycled sweat and breath ...ALOT of it. This is made even worse by the fact that it can get pretty crowded during peak hours which can be very off-putting.
Overall this gym is justified by its price, this really is a "you get what you pay for" type of deal. Its got its ups and downs but it's all in all its 3/5 stars for me. Its worth noting that the people seem to be nice though - if that worth anything.
I have been going to this gym for about a year now and as I am short on time I'm usually in and out pretty quick. Wether you are up for a chat or just hyper-focused on your workout you can have both. For the price that you pay, 19.99 a month I believe it is fantastic.
The only downside is that on a few occasions the free weights or the power rack are occupied so you just kind of have to roam around until you see them free but that is mainly it.
