Phoned up to enquire about rejoining this Gym, told hours have been reduced, the only reason I wanted to come back. They used to open at 5 and close at 11. Now they are 6-10 and rudely told today, no admission after 9pm! So now I’ll join Nuffield down the road with their state of the art equipment and 100 times bigger! Also, with a new breed of gyms open 24 hrs a day, show casing the lastest equipment and tonnes of space, it won’t be long before gyms like this disappear, I just hope the senior management take initiative to make this Gym competitive again.

Not great tbh..

Signed up with a bit of hope.. at first looked nice and wondered why the bad reviews..
Over time things became apparent.

a couple gym machines didn't work and a few the screens/interfaces didn't work and still don't work 1.5 months on. Not a massive problem.. but there's MORE

After the gym... The male toilets are filthy.. I don't mean a bit of dirt.. I mean weekly build up of dirt at least, surrounding the toilet and urinal. Also the urinal stunk they blamed it on old plumbing.. but for £60 a month! That should be redone or already been sorted.. So expect that now and again.

Last 3 times without exaggeration there has been things out of service in the spa/pool area..
The Jacuzzi has been out of order 3 times in my last 4 visits
The sauna was out the same day but is normally ok like the steam room.

They like to treat the water of everything with chorine during peak times when everyone is there for some reason.. logic never seems to be there im afraid.

Also don't expect more than one towl in a session you need to use the same towl you used for the gym in the swimming area too.

No where near worth £59 a month (£49 if you have a airside pass)

Open from 8am-8pm

Some up this gym with not great and not worth it.. staff are friendly

Please save your money and do not join. So it used to be 49 per month but now 59 per month. They no longer provide towels ( which they used to) not a huge issue for myself but it's the matter of principle especially with the price you pay. The changing rooms are so so so dirty I'm not even joking. They have luke warm to cold water in showers to reduce time that people spend. Only yesterday there was another fault with the pool and it was so dirty. Every time I take my son we both end up with a ear infection due to the hygiene. And the guys are so pervy it makes us feel so uncomfortable. Such such a shame honestly because I loved it there but it really isn't worth what u pay.

Had a 6 hour layover at Heathrow, was able to get there easily from the A10 bus in twenty minutes, do a nice little workout for a reasonable price, had showers, sauna, pool. Not a huge facility in terms of gym equipment honestly but absolutely perfect for what I needed.

This is a great gym with lovely members of staff who are all very helpful. The gym is a good size and not to busy in the morning. The changing rooms are clean which is good. The swimming pool is always at a good temperature. Helpful staff always there to help with the gym equipment when needed and good health tips always advised which I enjoy reading and getting good health tips. One of the best gyms i have joined.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The gym equipment is brand new and all of the facilities are very clean. The pool is heated and rarely busy which is great. They also have a: Jacuzzi, plunge pool, sauna and steam room.

An update 8/11/19 - Following a thorough investigation by the Hotel Group it was discovered that my "friend" had lied to the club and informed them cancel my free gift membership (which is under contract) and that I had apparently agreed to it and thereby created a whole host of problems in spite. The bottom line...I get to keep my 1 year free membership.

Gym is small but ok including the swimming. The only thing that drastically spoils it is the management. A very close knit team who don'nt respond well to enquiries regarding membership, classes etc but are happy to give out favours to people they like. Also multiple GDPR breachs with regards to the content of phone call enquiries being passed onto another member. I received a gift for a years membership from a friend only for it to be apparently retracted within two weeks with no communication even though I tried to reach out to the team in which case they would put the phone down on me. James the Assistant Manager took note but never got back to me but within an hour I got a call from my friend who is still a member and gifted me the membership there (GDPR!). Unfortunately my friend was unsupportive throughout this whole process and told me not to ever call them because it was affecting her "terms and conditions. My advice - Learn to answer your calls, treat everyone equally and not with favouritism and familiarise yourself with GDPR.

Nice gym and swimming pool. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. A calm environment compared to other gyms I have attended. I will be recommending this gym to friends and family.
