Deerness Gymnastics Academy

Apparently it's the kids party place to be now (6yo). It has your typical bouncy castle, soft play but unlike most halls the floor is a gymnast floor so it doesn't hurt so much to take a tumble and also there is a jumping pit and some spinney equipment the kids absolutely love. I suppose if you took a pinch of jump360/ROF59 and mixed it up with a traditional soft play party you've got it. Every child comes out sweaty and with a smile on their face.

Had a party here for my son. Great venue and lovely helpful staff. Massive play area and trampoline area for party and party room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend.

My granddaughter goes to gymnastics at the academy and loves it. The teachers and staff are excellent with the children. There's a playroom for the kids too.

This place is great for kids parties.

You get the whole gymnastics area to yourself, it comes with music playing and disco lights flashing. There's a huge soft sponge pit at the top right of the area as you walk in which the kids love jumping into.

The room hire area where you can eat your food consists of a small multicoloured disco ball that can be turned on to add some colour to the room.

Came for a kids party, seemed nice. Kids all seemed to enjoy it. It was quite cold, which was only really any sort of problem for the grown ups as we weren't all racing around.

Update: came for a different party. Heating was on full blast. After all the racing around I was far too hot

Hidden in the middle of "nowhere" (never heard of the place before today), we visited it for the first time for a friend's birthday. Kids had great fun, run around like crazy and played with their friends. Huge space that can hold a large crowd. Not sure about the gymnastic courses they run but as a space to hire out for a kids birthday was good fun.

Was here for a birthday party. Great space for the kids to play. Loads of room and plenty to keep them occupied. Good facilities and parking.
