No racks, no barbell means no real squats, no deadlift and no real bench. Acoustic as a lame excuse when the gym is in a basement makes absolutely no sense. If you need a quick run, fine but for compound and intensity, stay away. Not worth your time

Went to train legs expecting this to be like every other pure gym and was majorly disappointed, no plate loaded machines, no squat rack, no smith machine, no leg press or hack squat, weights all seemed to be very limited and below 20kg. I asked and was advised they have restrictions because of the building, at a loss as to how people can get a proper workout there, I had to leave and go to another gym.

A small gym which lacks equipment as said in other reviews however if are looking for a quick low intensity session this could be for you. If they started doing lunchtime/after-work classes it could be more appealing to the areas clientele as lack of residents and more city workers.

Very poor. Dumbbells only up to 16kg, no barbells so no plates or plate-loaded machines. No kettlebells. Really only suitable for cardio or bodyweight exercises.
Yanga water (which is a paid extra) not working so the only option was tepid water from the fountain. Don’t expect a towel for your money either.

I was a member of PureGym London Bank, I made innumereous complaints due to not feel safe at this branch, but all of my complaints were ignored, which is a total disrespect to members.

I used to come to this gym for a workout, but everytime I arrived at around 2.30pm - 3pm, the manager (he sometimes wears a top that says "manager" on the back) he is at the entrance and he is very arrogant and with an attitude.

After finishing my workouts, I used to go to the toilet to pickup my stuff and go home, and this man who wears a manager's top checks the toilet which I know it's a regular gym routine for male staff to do this kind of checks. So one day I was very tired, then when I saw him leaving the toilet, I backed off in order to let him do his job, he then left the toilet and arrogantly said to me "it's all yours!!", in a very rude and impolite tone.

A couple of months prior to this, I was leaving the toilet, and we bumped at each other at the toilet door, this manager instead of allowing me to leave the toilet, he blocked my exit and was interrogating me with a very obtuse attitude if there was anyone else in the ladies, rather than simply let me exit the toilet, so he could check the toilet himself without involving a gym member to do his job.

At first, when arriving at the gym, I used to say hello to him, and he rudely reply "I'm good, thanks", then he would look down at his phone, after this I stopped greeting him when entering the gym.

I am very upset with this manager's lack of professionalism and rudeness, he could be more polite to members, but he has this attitude, just because he is the manager.

I left PureGym London Bank because of this arrogant and rude manager as I am very offended by his level of rudeness to me when I did nothing to him. I am deeply hurt by the way I have been treated by the manager of PureGym London Bank as well as by the fact the all my emails complaints about this manager were all ignored.

It's better to pay a more expensive gym and be treated with respect and decency.

UPDATE: I've sent lots of emails to London Bank Pure Gym complaining about this manager, I sent emails to Emma, to Olly and all ignored, now the reply below was "DM us" which I've been doing for more than a month, no one never got back to me, that's hillarious their feedback, I would've never left a review if my complaints have been dealt with.

Tuesday around 7am the music was so loud the floor was shaking and I couldn't even hear anything on my airpods even on maximum volume. No staff in sight to ask for it to be turned down.

The gym is good. It is clean and quiet. As other reviews point out, there is less equipment than other gyms but membership gives you access to two gyms. The other gym is closer to Monument a 1 minute walk away and they have more weights.

I prefer the Bank gym because it is cleaner and less busy and has all of the equipment I need in a much cleaner and quieter environment.

I recommend the gym.

Very clean and would be great for classes and aerobics as has 2 huge studios and a spin room. Weightlifting facilities are limited though. Please bring back the cleaning station 1 is not enough! Disappointed that you have removed, are you cutting back on costs? Since the removal people are not cleaning down equipment after use :(
