Village Gym Maidstone

Recently joined this gym and I am very impressed. The staff are always very polite and make me feel very welcoming and comfortable. I find gyms quite daunting so i explained this in my tour and the membership team who took me round made me feel really comfortable and more relaxed when coming to the gym. The swimming pool is newly refurbished with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Really impressed and highly recommend

I would like to leave a positive review.. however, I will ask you who are considering joining this gym to have a look for yourself.

The pool is a lovely pool. However, the hygiene standards are horrendously low. The showers are very smelly, always hair on the floor and generally unhygienic. Around the pool is a lot of dirty / muddy water and hair. In the ladies, there is a number of hair dryers which are out of use and have been for a number of months. I have emailed the manager multiple times but have been ignored. This has potential to be a lovely pool, by hygiene and cleanliness is very low.

Great gym. Pool area was great and newly redone. Prices of a membership is pretty expensive though and no options for a family membership or seniors so a bit disappointing.

Used the Groupon deal to experience the Village Gym. Place was clean and well equipped. Worth making note of when swimming lessons are as losing a lane of swimming makes the pool quite busy.

We went to use the pool and sauna for a spa day with girls. The pool was ok but the hygiene of the place leaves a lot to be desired. Also the jacuzzi was not available due to someone dropping a glass in there and no one told us about it but they were happy to fully charge us. General hygiene was very poor, we will not come back and will not recommend it to anyone.

Staff are really helpful and are doing their best. The gents changing rooms toilet area is disgusting. I asked three times last week whilst on site of someone could put some cleaner on the urinals, each time they said they would but it was still disgusting when I left. Went in today and sure enough all the urinals are in the same disgusting state. Disappointing

I recently joined this gym after training in several independent places. This is by far the best gym in Kent. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and kind. The sales team were brilliant when signing me up. My trainings really elevated to the next stage. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Get yourselves down here!
