Has been better in the past. Not sure the changes are to reflect covid safety. Relaxation room is more like a disco(music is loud). No tables to put hot drink down on, therefore drinks are put on the floor!!! If you attempt just sitting on a chair, this is posing a scold risk if you misjudge the chair/bean bag. Take your own towel, they do provide tea towel size towels and will NOT give you a second towel. Afternoon biscuits tasted like it was made with soap powder and these were replaced with a delightful cake. Lunch was very good and deserve 5 stars 🌟.

Requests for information (about a potential renewal of health club membership) to the leisure centre & also to the Senior Management at the hotel have been ignored. As a former health club member this poor level of customer service saddens me & would not encourage me to recommend your hotel to others which I have done in the past.

Tired changing rooms and the pool has been turned down too low now. But it's clean and tidy and has all the equipment you need

We went here for a spa break. It was a good value for money., having the bed, breakfast and evening meal. Yet the keys for our rooms wee constantly not working. We were booked in for 2 nights in luxury twin, but given a luxury double bed- we were moved to a standard... It was very standard!!

The best bit of our little holiday where the staff. They were all excellent, willing to go the extra mile, friendly and attentive.
My mum and me had a 25 min facial - it was wonderful!
The pool and area were good. Food was good. Wine wasn't so good!

In all it was fair to good.

Spent a fabulous day at the spa. We had access to the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and gym. Complementary tea coffee, fruit juice and water all day. Both the treatments we had were excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Also included in our package was a two course lunch. Would definitely recommend and will be returning asap.

On initial arrival into room it appeared clean until we dropped something under bed and found a discarded alcohol bottle, 2nd room we found a sock that had been left from last visitor. Spa was unorganised and staff appeared uninterested in clients, we were asked to be ready for a treatment at a particular time and then left for 20 mins and had to go and find staff and chase up. Treatments booked in at same time but only 1 therapist working. Well equipped gym with new modern machines. Amber who did my facial was excellent really enjoyed it. Overall it wasn't a very stress free visit.

Disgraceful. Paid over £400 for a couples spa break for my partners birthday and was told to check in at 3pm before heading to the spa to receive a time slot for our treatments. Waiting in a queue to book in until 3.30 then headed to the spa at which point the lady on reception picked up the phone and dialled a call rather than greeting us whilst the girl next to her avoided eye contact and continued shuffling through appointment cards until directed to "see to us". Then we were told that one of our treatments started at 3pm and my partners was at 5pm. After explaining we were told multiple times that we couldn't even book in until 3 and how were we expected to be ready and in the spa by then, the lady simply offered me the final 25 minutes of my slot (despite me being fully dressed with luggage) and that my partners massage could still be had 2 hours later. How you can book a couple in for a couples spa treatment with a 2 hour break between the two. We were also told that the spa break comes with a 2 course meal in the restaurant but on arrival we were given a paper menu and urged to selec our meal in advance from the "inclusive menu" which consisted of around 4 choices. We were then offered to split the 2nd hours treatment between the two of us or to just stay for a bed and breakfast only visit. This left us at 4pm on my partners birthday trying to sort a refund and left with no plans for the evening event though we had sorted out time off work and house sitters whilst we were away. No offer of credit in compensation and barely so much as an apology. Another guest was complaining that they had paid over 400 pound and were told they couldn't use the pool.
