A Muslim friendly gym.
Not mixed and doesn't play music.
Not the best of gyms since the equipment is limited but does the job.

This is not my regular gym, I come here during Ramadan after Taraweeh.
It's one of those places where everyone thinks they're a PT cause they've completed a routine like 5 x 5😂
No foul though, I guess they have good intentions, so won't hold it against anyone.

The showers and changing room are kinda nasty though.

No fuss, nothing to distract you and a really good atmosphere. If you live local, the price is just about right with a decent level equipment and long opening hours. Get into a decent time range to attend and you will find all equipment ready to use.

Unlike more expensive gyms with more equipment and space etc, the cost isn't reflected accurately as when you attend it's jam packed and you have to wait to use equipment and it can be so bustling that its too much for some. In that respect this gym is great. Could do with some updates, but you kind of get used to it.

I have been coming to this gym for few years now but today was the last straw. This gym has gone so down hill and I can't justify being paying to come here anymore. Current issues with this gym:

1) Hygiene is appalling- especially in the showers and toilets.

2) Most equipment were broken as well as 3 showers broken and unavailable, aswell as toilet doors and handles that have been broken for over a year. The rowing machine has been broken for over a year, and this is the only one they have. Also, a few of the treadmills are broken.

3) There is massive shortage of staff. How can 1 person manage the gym and reception at the same time. When you come in there is rarely a member of staff present, they are usually busy in the gym or doing something else.

This gym used to be good, but I can no longer hold that opinion. The truth has to be said as this is unfair for the customers, they need to up their standards and fix what needs to be fixed before they lose more members like myself.

Worst gym I've been to all my life. Dirty, old, rum down, no air filters, sweaty, muslim gym. I'm not racist but they have signs telling you to apologise to Allah after you go to the bathroom. If you are a girl, definitely stay as far away as you can from here. It's not even like one of those hardcore gyms where it's slightly dirty just because of the atmosphere and aesthetics of the place no, this gym is the definition of run-down.

You've been warned

Very poor hygiene standards. Don't offer tissue to wipe down equipments. Defective equipments. Uneven flooring. Smell of dead rodents. Seriously high levels of profanity from some gym goers. Can't wait for PureGym to open up.

There is a massive list of issues with this gym, it’s no secret the owners want to cut and run as looking to sell up so place is in a state of managed decline.

However one of thee main problems with this gym is with one of it’s patrons, he is a middle aged bald guy whose at the gym every morning without fail, many of the people there have nicknamed him Panda but his real name is Saad.

He is no sense of hygiene and consideration for others as he has a massive flatulance problem, every day he passes wind inside the gym and makes it unbearable to workout in, it’s truly a horrendous smell.

He would then proceed to use the one working toilet to take a massive nuclear style dump and smell up the corridors with it.

This has been brought up with staff and all they can do is give back some dawah about it’s wrong to pick on people, well clearly this Panda is picking on everyone else by not having the decency to walk outside, release his toxic gasses rather than just letting rip inside the gym.

Hayaa - do something about this man, a man who says he does not come to gym everyday but does come 7 days a week!!!

Clearly something not right about this guy!

Lots of detective equipment and they just put up a sign saying "use at your own risk" even if one steel cable rips and takes out your eye.

The standards have dropped a lot since I visited many years ago. It’s in really good location and could be great if they pull their finger out and run it like a proper business.
