The Gym at Perton Park

Went to sign up to gym (advertised no contract) so therefore meaning no direct debit set up needed? Apparently I was wrong, spoken to like I was thick and laughed at as I walked out by whoever was behind counter in shop (05/01/2019) AM and his friend. Have never felt more disrespected by any other business.
Do not falsley advertise and retrain staff on customer service. Made me feel really small.
Disgusted.

The Gym at Perton is really well equipped. Lots of cardio equipment and machines. Plenty of free weights, Smith Machine, Power Rack and an Olympic Bar. Reasonable costs and the most important thing is that it's near and members rerack their weights!

good for a local gym, but could do with a bit of an extension as after work you sometimes have to que for some of the equipment. maintenance on machines could be better also as one of the machines is partly broken and has been for a while.

Good gym. Got plenty of equipment to use and staff very friendly.

I have been going to Perton gym on and off over the past 5 years and can honestly say it’s a great gym for all. Over the five years I have seen them upgrade the older equipment and install new equipment to cover a variety of workouts that suits everyone.
That being said when the gym is full during peak times it does feels very packed and room soon becomes limited.

If you compare the price of the gym to other mainstream gyms (ie pure gym)it’s a little over the average to say they don’t have the facilities to run classes and the gym isn’t open 24/7 but it is cheaper then the leisure centre but that being said they have swimming pools and classes.

With the new houses being built next door it would be great to see a huge upgrade come to the gym on both size and equipment to house all the new potential customers that will be moving in. Overall the gym at Perton does what it says on the tin with friendly staff a great variety of equipment there’s nothing to really fault.

High quality equipment, not that big. Very good relaxing place to workout. Busy at peak hours can cause issues

Has everything I need, in good condition, along with friendly staff and a nice setting. Still going, still my favourite and they've added more equipment since too.
