Looks awesome!!😉👍Should have been done years ago when they built the lammas in sutton. 🙄
Apart from that.....glad we have modern day facilities in kirkby!
😉👍

Been in real life to see it 22/8/22 .... Very very impressed by the ultra modern facilities!! 😮😮 Incredible!!

Impressed by the 🏊 swimming pool with it's "moving floor!" that adjusts to the height of people who want to learn how to swim! 😉👍

Booked to go swimming with my 5 month old daughter, however following us booking it, we saw 4 different posts on Facebook stating that the water was really cold and that their babies lips had gone blue and were shivering! Normally I don’t like to take too much notice of comments like this, but 4 of the same thing?! So anyway I emailed the pool asking them to clarify the temp - I assumed it would be okay as they do an under 5s swim session, they stated the pool was set at 28 degrees. Unfortunately, that’s far too cold for a baby, I replied this to them, as it isn’t advised that you put babies in water cooler that 30 degrees due to risk of hypothermia. They didn’t care about this, told me the pool water was fine for babies and refused a refund. Think that’s pretty shoddy as every piece of guidance about taking infants swimming is 30 degrees plus. In the end we didn’t bother and went to South Forest Leisure Centre where the water is 31/32 and it was lovely! Shame about Kirkby though as it did look good and we were looking forward to making it a regular thing there! Never mind.

Gym has a great feel to it, good atmosphere and everyone including the staff seem to be friendly..as you’d expect up to date and modern equipment. Really glad i joined!

Went swimming to a late session for ladies only. Very clean and lots of changing rooms, clean showers and friendly staff. Loved the fact music was on for the swimmers and the water was a good temperature

Love how clean it is and that the pool is a good depth so my children have comfortably been able to swim. We enjoy coming here every week, however the last two times we have been, the water has been so cold! It takes a while to adjust to the temperature and we’ve had to cut the swims short due to my little ones being covered in goosebumps and shaking. The temperature definitely needs to be reassessed! We likely won’t return until this is improved as it’s just too cold, especially with the outside temperature being chilly this time of year. Also, the fam feature sessions should be more stricter and lessen the amount of individual adults swimming without children, who seem to huff and puff when you’re in the way of them swimming - despite it clearly being a children's/family session. One other negative is that the changing rooms are shared male/female and you see a lot of people using their phones when in the changing room, which is quite uncomfortable when you’re walking around in your swimming costumes, showering and dressing your children in the same area.

My only complaint is the depth of the water. 1.20 all through. I found it difficult to swim properly afraid my knees would hit the floor. 1.50 would be better or progressively deep water not same throughout. Loved the music and facilities.

COLD WATER!! We bought two under 3's here and had to leave early. Their lips were blue and other kids were shivering in the pool also. Our children are poorly with chesty coughs and colds now due to this. Don't advise taking kids until they increase the temperature.

A great new leisure centre for the area, the facilities are all new, modern and sparkling. The wet change area is bright and airy, a mixture of different size changing cubicles ideal if you are taking small children. The pool is a good size, warm with pleasant surroundings.
There's a lovely cafe area with a selection of well priced drinks, snacks and light meals.
There is free parking opposite the site and the new car park should be finished soon.
