This place is the antidote to the soul-less corporate mausoleums that gyms now seem to have become with their fashion conscious lycra clad posers.
Here fat ladies can train and gossip without fear of snooty mockery. Here the ages range from 16 to 85. Here hunks to wimps are welcomed. Here is a friendly, sociable atmosphere. Well run, with equipment to suit all types, with reasonable prices.
I have been coming here for 14 years,and many other loyal members even longer. There must be something about the place that keeps us here, rejecting the blandishments of the trendy mausoleums.
