Good gym, equipment is good but a little old in places. Freezing in the winter! Staff are like the weather sometimes friendly, sometimes no welcome/ goodbye.

I joined online today as they have a number of classes I was interested in. One of those was Pilates which is listed as 7.15 to 7.45pm tonight. I arrived at 7pm to allow time to pat annual subscription. I was the 'greeted (I use this term loosely) by who I presume is the owner. He had me go through all my details again (I'm not sure what the point of the online registration is when have to repeat it all again at the gym). I handed my card over to pay and he told me cash only. I explained I did not have cash and had come for the class at 7.15. He informed me the class had started at 7pm. When I suggested he may want to amend this on the website he told me 'I'm not changing anything'. I was told I could join the class and pay after. I tried the door but was blocked and class already half way through. I left the building and will not be joining. Very poor customer service, very poor advertising as classes not as listed. I will take my Money elsewhere.

Very disappoint with the staff at the gym, I have been trying to cancel my membership since end of January! and they keep ignoring my emails and when I ring them they refuse to cancel and say i need to talk to their boss that I can never get hold of. Down right awful experience with this gym and would never recommend anyone to join. Very unprofessional service.

Love this place. Home from home. Staff are friendly and always make you feel at home. Never have to wait around for an equipment as so much variety

Very unprofessional. Due to a bank mix up I missed a direct debit, which i immediately paid in person. I’ve since been receiving letters and emails, telling me I’m still in arrears. Every time I call them they assure me it’s only an error and it will be sorted! Load of rubbish.

Lovely family run business. Always helpful. Immaculate gym. Respectful and always make you feel welcome. Rez and Hedi are always there to help.

If you’d asked me a year ago I would have given a 4/5 star review but the way this place has treated me with regards to leaving and other members/staff is a complete joke.

After keeping my membership during the multiple lockdowns the price increase for members was a little annoying but I understood why this happened. A few weeks later he then introduced the old price back for new members while excluding those who were loyal during the pandemic.
Granted the new price of £20 a month is still quite cheap for the area but being excluded from the new deals despite showing real loyalty to help the business keep going during those long lockdowns and the fact multiple machines now don’t work and are just left strewn all over the place made me want a change of scenery.

Trying to leave in all honesty has been a complete nightmare. I did everything that was asked of me to leave which i was told was to submit my notice in writing, this was ignored and I have been constantly bombarded with threatening account overdue emails/texts despite me no longer being a member. I have responded to all of these but all again have been ignored.

The threatening emails also included a date of when my supposed 12 month contract ends even though the date is well over 3 years since I joined and also the complete wrong month (i’m also on a DD monthly basis not a 12 month commitment contract)

I would be more likely to get blood out of a stone than a response off the club. They also recently posted asking multiple members to leave the gym immediately by cancelling their DD if they used a certain personal trainer who I believe he sacked out of the blue. I know that he’s also sending those former members the same threatening emails with made up dates etc.

I would highly recommend never joining this gym as the leaving process is a complete nightmare and you are treated with complete contempt by the owner.

It’s quite a sad end really to a place I once enjoyed going too.

Has a varied range of resistance machines free weights bars etc lots of cardio aperators and the atmosphere is friendly and professional
