I hated this trip! As someone who experiences really bad asthma this trip was definitely not it! I woke up everyday feeling wheezy from the rock solid mattresses! they were very uncomfortable and so was the showers. The water tasted really weird, and I got so worn out! I had to wake up at 6.45 and sleep at 10.30-11pm and we did way too many activities! 3 after breakfast (7.35) 3 after lunch and 3 after dinner! I stayed for 5 nights, meaning we did 40 activities in 5 days!!!
Also, they didn't restock us with toilet paper we had to get it ourselves after they said they would do it for us. Wouldn't ever go again. The trip fee was way too overpriced.

This guys are a shambles. They cancelled our daughters year 6 school trip 1 week before they were due to go. The reason being 140 members of staff were still waiting for their DBS clearance. This in itself was shocking to hear as how experienced would that many new members of staff be?! Now we have read many of these reviews and find it shocking they are still even in business! How dare they treat children like this. Please avoid at all costs.

I am going to be completely honest when writing this review.
This place was not worth the amount of money I have paid.
£240 for 3 days.
I am going to start with the rooms.
The rooms don't get cleaned, all the windows were covered with bird poo, and we even found popcorn on the floor, and very thin walls I constantly heard whispering. The matresses were so hard and uncomfortable my back hurts badly.
Now onto the food.
I liked most of it, but there was this pasta bake which I didn't really have a choice on, the dinner lady just put it on my plate without asking if I want something else, and there wasn't enough pasta to keep us full.
Most staff were kind.
But this place was so dirty, especially the toilets, most of the locks broken, bins overflowing with wet tissues and sanitary products (used), I was super disgusted with the poor hygiene here.
Activities were fun,
But the trip wasn't worth as much as I had to pay.
I think it was a wonderful experience,
But I won't visit because of how dirty this place is.

Went for 3 days and was very overpriced. When it was around noon there was a sewage flood, and we could not use the shower, bathroom, sink or anything that involves the use of water, this lasted for multiple hours. After we were allowed to use the water, we discovered in our room there was an ant infestation, that the showers were boiling hot and you couldn’t adjust the temperature. Once we went to sleep the beds were uncomfortable and we couldn’t open the windows that were only slightly open. As a result of the heat I woke up at 2 in the morning gasping for fresh air out of the slight opening in my bedroom window and felt very like I was about to faint. Most of the meals were mediocre with an occasional good meal. Despite this the activities we did there were fun we really enjoyed raft and buggy building, Jacob’s ladder and the 3G swing.

£300 for 3 days, not worth it. This was also my first residential trip.

The toilets were APPALLING- floor was dirty and showers weren’t cleaned regularly. Water tasted weird and there was a diarrhoea stench. Multiple kids had diarrhoea and constipation. Including myself from which I got food poisoning

Bedrooms were DISGUSTING- bed bugs everywhere, red dripping from radiator , windows were broken we had to change our own sheets which had stains ,crushed maoms and maltesers on the floor. The walls are so thin.

Food was GROSS- The meals were unbelievable. For breakfast we had sausages which weren’t cooked properly, beans were cold , scrambled egg that was really sour. Lunch was pasta and it was really mushy. Even teachers complained. Didn’t even think about touching the meat.

Activities were VERY FUN- However , we barely did any. They all lasted to 9pm meaning that we didn’t even get a good nights sleep. We did leap of faith and jacob’s ladder which were really fun. The instructors were very helpful. No issue with them.

Overall, I wanted to come just to see how it’s like to travel alone. This has kind of ruined my excitement for any upcoming residential trips. Many children were crying, nobody came back with a smile on their face. Please don’t come here , find a better camp.

This is a great training centre with lots of space, a variety of activities you can do, accomodation and more.
We used this centre for our weekend of Kung Fu and it was perfect. Accommodation is basic but clean. The only thing that let this venue down was the food. Dietary requirements we not met, food was cold and in cases was not cooked through.

There was absolutely no heating in the rooms which made me and many kids sleep with outside clothes on. Imagine it is -5c degrees and we are all shivering in our rooms. Horrible nights. Food was not good enough, some were uncooked like the shepherd pie. People working there just couldn’t help in anyway. Never again.

Absolute rip off!!!

I went there on a school trip a couple of years ago. When I arrived there in a room for six men which was 3 meters in width and 6 meters in length not including the 3 bunk beds. Another problem with the rooms is that the windows would not open and it was during the summer so it was impossible to stay in the room during the limited free time you got. All bar 2 showers were broken and the toilets were not cleaned once in the 5 days I was there (I went there with all the boys in my year which accounted to 70). Then I went to lunch were I saw one of the maids putting already eaten pasta back in the severing tray, I then tried to make a complaint about this but was told it was nonsense. Among all those other horrors the staff were rude, none of the vending machines worked and the entire campus had barbed wire fences with the barbed wire pointing inwards!

Don't be cheap save your self from this place.
