The Tiger Club

A classic grass strip from which to take to the air in a vintage Tigermoth aircraft. I thoroughly enjoyed flying to the coast and over the Battle of Britain memorial. Worth every penny!!

Wonderful! Words just aren't adequate, if they were, maybe we wouldn't need to fly. I can't wait to fly there again!

Went to fly two airplanes Tiger and and Supercub in formation, close to each other. "Crazy!", "Awesome!" were the reactions of my friends seeing the photos from the flight. It's a marvellous sight having the 1939 Tiger flying so close next to you. It's even better to be sitting in the Tiger - open cockpit experience gives much more intimate experience. We flew to another airport ("for a lunch," I can now casually drop this into my conversations), then flew back, so that both of us could try flying in both planes. The 1939 Tiger has been flying longer than I've been alive, and probably will be flying longer than I'll stay alive - it felt very safe. The Supercub is a VIP experience compared to the Tiger (closed cockpit shelters from the wind and it is much roomier). Both pilots, Amy and Alex, are super friendly, experienced pilots (formation flying is not for the beginners). Hence their experience made us feel very happy - every step was guided and explained professionally. Formation flight is one of a kind experience that beats the rest on Wingly. Amy & Alex - thank you for letting us experience the "Crazy Awesome"!

I have always wanted to go up in a Super Cub and that dream came true today. Amy the pilot was very professional and made me feel at ease right up until the end of the experience. There was a lot to take in and Amy was very knowledgeable.

Definitely one I will remember for a long time.
