Came here for a family meal, tried a lot of traditional Mauritian dishes. For starters we had gateaux piments (mauritian falafel) and gateaux arouille (sweet doughy fried balls) for starters along with dhall pourri (traditional bread)- all were really tasty. I had the Poulet Mine Frire (chicken fried rice), which brought back childhood memories! My family tried the biryani, this was the only let down as we found that it didn't taste authentic. For dessert I had Poudine Mais (Corn Maize pudding) - this was the highlight for me, it was beautifully done. The staff are helpful and very attentive too, thank you for a nice experience all round.

The chicken briani was on point. Fried noodles well.. it is not the same as home but delicious. Service is friendly. it is great to just go to a place and be able to order these food from home.

The snacks was absolutely delicious. But the noodles was a bit burned. It had that over char burned taste it leave an aftertaste to the mouth. I think next time the chef need try to not over cook the vegetables. Price is reasonable.

If you want microwaved food.. this is the place. I don't understand why there are so many 5 stars review. This place is a disgrace to Mauritian food.

If your mixed race and Not fully Mauritius they will discriminate you.. Felt like I was being interrogated over my ethnicity as I’m from Mauritius / Jamaican whilst ordering food. The Old Man is very disrespectful and 1 staff member constantly asking me questions.. I don’t recommend that his place at all… Will not be coming back again.

Really great tasting Mauritian food. Crab soup, absolutely delicious. All my friends love it when I bring them here. UPDATE: Post COVID-19, the restaurant is now running as a takeaway only service.
