Cafe was bright, clean and welcoming. We had the ploughmans and it was amazing! Great sized portion and all fresh and presented well. Would 10/10 recommend and will 100% visit again.
Stopped off here for a breakfast and it was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time .
3 sausages 3 eggs 3 large rashers of bacon beans tomato and hash browns.
If anyone come near here I highly recommend it.
Worth a billion stars
I thought the food took so long as it was freshly prepared but watching the Chef… sorry cook heat up meals out of plastic containers. Possibly an idea to cook the local produce you stock.
Cake options is lovely and they had a few GF options which is good to see
Car parking and charging points for electrical cars.
This place situated just outside Whetstone is a real gem. Fresh local produce is in abundance here. Prices are very reasonable. I always use this place for their fresh duck eggs (who doesn't like duck egg on marmite toast for breakfast?).
The Deli section has a wide variety of chutneys, jams, marmalades, mustards and many more local goods at a very good price.
The meat is very reasonably priced, for example I spotted wild duck for about £5. We also had a huge beef roasting joint for £8 (it fed 2 of us plus had leftovers to make a philly cheesesteak omelette with).
Today I picked up a whiskey marmalade and it is absolutely delicious!
Attfields staff are very friendly and accommodating, which is such a good asset to a locally run, locally sourced business.
As a sufferer of anxiety and have sensory issues, I find this place really relaxing. Everything is clean and well laid out. There is no horrible music blaring away, which is great if you want to talk to the person next to you whilst picking your favourite produce.
The disabled toilet is spotless, very large and well maintained. Idea if you use a wheelchair or have a pushchair.
The pet section is huge and very well stocked with all budgets catered for.
The craft beer selection from local breweries is very vast and there is almost too much to choose from. Prices here are also very reasonable.
We haven't had the chance to eat at the cafe yet, however will be looking to do so in the coming months.
Overall this is my favourite Deli/farmshop in the UK, not just Leicester (and I originally come from the middle of nowhere with a vast array of farmshops).
Well done Attfields for having such a good business model and I wish you all the success in the future 👍
Fresh strawberries 🍓 and Cherry 🍒.
Free parking
Seasonal fresh cut flowers with small pots.
Not sure how fresh the gala Apple were but you could only get 4 for £1.50 but most supermarkets you can get 5 or 6 for £1.25
Similar to above.. few items were slightly over priced compared supermarkets.
Not sure if they sell fresh meat as never seen anything or asked.
