The team of volunteers have done a fantastic job restoring and maintaining the Vulcan in running order. One of only 3 runnable Vulcans it's a real privilege to be able to get up close to this iconic aircraft. Well worth a visit and a nice little cafe to grab a cuppa.

Massive thank you to James and the team for the thoroughly detailed guided tour Saturday 26th. He went above and beyond to help us see how important this marvel of engineering was to aviation. Absolutely fascinating to learn about this beautiful aircraft. Fully recommend visiting the friendly team!

Absolutely excellent tour given to us by Alex. An impromptu visit by us has been a highlight of our weekend away. Never thought we'd have the opportunity to sit in a Vulcan!

We had a lovely time seeing XM655 today. Alex the volunteer was brilliant! He was so knowledgeable about the Vulcan. He gave us loads of facts and figures whilst keeping it a really interesting chat. He gave us time to look around and was very keen to show us things. A lovely way to spend a sunny autumn afternoon. Thank you to Alex and the whole team for all your hard work and dedication.

Our car club booked a group visit £10 each. We had a tour of the Vulcan including clambering up into the cockpit and then we got to bring our cars in to park infront of xm655 for a photoshoot. Great day, lots of enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers/guides. The airfield cafe just down the road is great too.

What a great site, it’s technically free with a very small Car pack. ( You need to cut further down the grass). For a donation I got taken up into the crew compartment in the plane and a Volunteer gave me the background and ran over what each of the areas did. You can’t sit in the pilots seat as it’s still a functioning rolling (runway runs) and very tight and completely understandable but amazing they let you up into the other crew compartment that gives you a real idea what it must be like to have flown in and you can climb up and see into the cockpit. I’ve got so used to using cards to pay for stuff I only had a few pounds in coins so felt a bit guilty with a ex Vulcan Pilot Wg Cmdr Mike Pollitt showing me round and taking time to explain and talk about the plane inside, if you want a look inside take some pound coins or notes as it’s worth it😁👍. Visited on the passing while staying in a hotel near Warwick and going to the Motor Museum that’s ten minutes away. Great for a half hour visit just to back the team keeping this Vulcan running.

Came across the Vulcan en route to a National Trust property and called in, as it happens, on a day that the volunteers were working and one showed me round, for FREE. For a small donation I could have climbed into the cockpit, but I'm not that deep into aircraft.
