Bristol Airport

Very quiet airport. It has a few nice places u can go to for food and drinks. The COVID testing site is not open on weekends from what I saw which is really bad (100% not open on Sundays). The customer service is also mediocre. My friend isn't English and was confused with the explanations they gave him (his English is actually very good, very rarely he doesn't understand anything).

A modern airport which was generally good. Toilets were clean and tidy. No point buying Fast Track as the queue was as long as normal but security took around 15 minutes. 7am flight on a Saturday and not enough food outlets open to buy in. Small airport but did the job.

This airport needs a complete overhaul if it's to survive with this amount of demand. I think a lot of the issues was people turning up too early, which resulted in a completely full departure lounge, with no room to sit and everyone sitting on the floor. Also the security line was huge, though luckily the queue was moving quickly. Once the gate was called it was completely fine, with enough room for everyone. Hopefully they fix it by summer...

Honestly it was jam packed, wall to wall people. Queues everywhere. Very little available space to relax. The airport itself seems very nice and modern. Nice grass and trees 🌳 outside. But our experience was waiting for hours for queues and our flight which was RyanAir and very late. I had to pay £88 extra just so our North American standard size carry ons would be accepted (not impressed). £55 more because our one checked bag was over the weight limit by 5.1 kg. Overall impression was I would never fly from BRS again if this was a standard experience.

small and clean airport with not much rush even when we have travelled during the Christmas holidays. Everything was well managed till we catch the flight and had a good time at the restaurants and around to spent some time before the flight timing.

Good airport with a very nice roof terrace which allows you to see the sun while waiting for your delayed flight.
Lack of staff in the security arches which makes it impossible to go through in less than 40 minutes. Staff are friendly enough though.
5 pounds for drop off parking even if you are inside just 1 minute is a bit of a joke.

Nice roof terrace with tables and great views for the waiting time. It has improved the time to pass security since 3 months ago that was around 1 hour and now it takes like 27-30 minutes but still lots of security gates closed that could be used to speed up.
The shops inside are ok but could be open with bigger schedules, at the moment some of them are closed and it is not even 19:00.
The 5 pounds drop off is quite expensive just to take someone and not parking.

I haven’t been to Bristol airport for a while but on this occasion I had a massive delay thanks to Ryan Air. What I would recommend to anyone is to buy your drinks or snacks before you go through to departures as the prices are considerably cheaper. I had a four hour delay and the shops inside the departure area started to close around 10 o’clock and my flight didn’t actually leave the terminal until midnight.
