I visited Lotus Health and Beauty for the first time today following a last minute cancellation at another salon. I was seen by the owner Dong who was just incredible. She did the fastest Hollywood wax (8 minutes!) I have ever experienced. The service was excellent and I will be returning as a repeat customer from now on. Thank you.

I love this little place. It's a bit tired and can be a bit less clean than I normally like but the treatments are really good quality. I have reflexology and Balinese massage which are superb and the pedicures are nice. I have had waxings here, but they aren't the best.

I have been to this salon and this was probably my worst beauty salon experience. I had a file and shellac on my hands, pedicure and Brazilian wax.
The wax was ok, although the room was very dirty and cold, food was standing around, really not a relaxing environment and no questions asked on how I would like my Brazilian done.
Then the pedicure: it was not good, no leg massage and painting of nails not done well at all. I then had to walk barefeet on the quite dirty floor to the manicure table. I had a quick file and then the shellac was applied. The shellac was applied very uneven and the top coat went well onto my skin. This cost of the treatments was £80 which was definitely not cheap.
Consequently the shellac started peeling off 2 days later. I called and was told I had to come round to get a refund. I went there at night after work and the owner told me I could only either have a refund or have it taken off and applied again. She wanted to re-do it but I didn’t have time nor did I want to have any further treatments at the salon. I had to discuss with the owner for 15 mins to get a refund and finally she also agreed to take it off. She then proceeded to use an electric file to file it off. I asked if that would damage my nails and she assured me this was much better for the nails than acetone. When I came home I discovered that neither was the shellac completely gone at the edges, also had she filed into my nails and I now have deep grooves in my nails.
I would avoid this salon at all cost.

I regularly visit Dong for both facials and massages which are among the best I have ever had. She takes the time that many therapists do not and even during a facial spends that extra time to ensure you receive a quality facial massage as well as mask, moisturiser etc. My skin has improved hugely since having facials with Dong. And for those of you who like a really good massage Dong provides an amazing full body massage which leaves you feeling completely reinvigorated with any knots and pains vanished. I've visited many very expensive spas around the country and it's rare to find a therapist as good as Dong anywhere.

Have been going to Lotus for 13 years, Dong is excellent at what she does - always takes time to do a good job. You will never get a more thorough leg and bikini wax. Her manicures and pedicures are very good too.

Went on 11/12/17 first visit and the salon although basic is great value for money and friendly. Dong the owner did my nails and they are perfect ! Will definitely return and pleased to recommend this nice salon.

Literally the worst massage I have ever had - it was actually painful. I had asked for a Swedish massage but not sure what I got, I’m fairly sure she wasn’t a licensed massage therapist. I kept considering asking her to stop and letting me just leave, but it felt too rude so I just grit my teeth. In hindsight, I wish I would have asked her to stop as I’m still in pain now afterwards. The other annoyance was that her phone kept going off with text messages, so she would frequently stop to go reply - and one time she just left the room entirely for about 5 minutes. That would normally annoy me, but the massage was so bad that I didn’t mind it stopping for a bit. The room was cold though and the CD player kept skipping, so it wasn’t wildly relaxing place to be. To top it off, she charged me more than was advertised on the website- I asked why and explained that the prices online are apparently 5 years out of date. It was only £5 more than advertised so I just paid it so I could leave, but it was annoying. I would recommend avoiding this place for massages...

This is a brilliant salon with great prices. You can get a perfect Brazilian wax in little more than 10 minutes. They offer a wide range of services and are very friendly. If you need a beauty salon in Sevenoaks you'd need look no further.
