Great service and atmosphere but the food let it down slightly.
I had the bbq burger and my partner had chicken fajitas, the burger was nice but slightly over cooked, too much lettuce and bread. Onion rings and chips were great.

Fajitas were not flavoured just chargrilled, skillet wasn't hot when brought to the table and it looked a bit sad. Salsa and guacamole were shop bought.

Booked a table and still had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated.
The steak was unevenly cooked, bits were rare like I asked for and bits were medium. The few prawns on top of the steak I wouldn't class as surf n turf. On top of that the price of the drinks are more than I would expect to pay when the food isn't exactly cheap

I visited Harvey’s New York Bar and Grill, Llandudno branch with my husband and our son.
Our first issue was when we were given the wrong drinks order and it was taken back from us.
My husband ordered pulled pork and chicken breast from the grill and I ordered the grill combo: ribs, chicken and shrimp.
The food presentation was great but when I tasted the first prawn it had absolutely no taste, same as the chicken. The sauce on the ribs was not to my taste as it strongly tasted of bourbon. So I asked for some bbq sauce but on tasting it, I realised it was the same sauce that was used on the ribs. My husband ate his chicken breast but left back the pulled pork as he didn’t like the sauce either.
When the server came I expressed to her that I could not eat my food because I did not like it but we were happy to pay for the meal and take it with us as a treat for our Honey.
I was happy to leave it at that until I got home and opened the take away box only to realise that my prawns, minus one that I ate, was missing from my box. In all respect I paid full price for my food and if I asked for my food to take away I would expect to have all of it especially considering how much we paid.
I emailed the restaurant the said day and it has been weeks now management never even acknowledged my email.

Definitely top quality meats and service ! 4 stars only because my partner's veggie burger had a just a bit of salad in it ...

The ribs taste exceptionally good, a must try in this restaurant. The shrimp is ok but the dip is a good match. Overall price is acceptable, average price compared to those of this type. The only complain is slow service due to under manpower.

Walk in late afternoon visit as a family of 4 on a Sunday. Warm welcome, friendly staff, with one particular staff member (did not get her name, a lady in her 40s, greish hair tied at the back) who literally made my day. As we had a baby with us, breastfed only, she aknowledged and kept checking if I need more water. She also had some good jokes for our older son and us when passing by our table.
Ordered The Big Daddy, which was spot on for how hungry we felt after just arriving in town from London: the best onion rings (which I normally do not eat), very good ribs and potatoes, the Buffalo wings’s sauce a bit too sweet for my taste. Son’s mini burger was not mini at all, very tasty. Great milkshake too!

PS: We ate there again next day for dinner, burgers were absolutely delicious! Carrie lwas our waiter this time, so friendly and professional! Also found out Wendy was the name of the oustanding lovely waitress from previous day. Great place!

Great American diner in the heart of Llandudno town centre. Great food & lovely staff. They don't take reservations so be prepared to eat early or wait (if you wait, they'll take your name & ask to to come back in x minutes). They have an 'open' kitchen so you're able to see the chefs in action.
