St Anne's Church, Edgeside

I was not a regular church attendee until a year ago. I travel past other churches to attend this one. It is CoE, but with a modern approach to worship and has inspirational down to earth speakers. You are welcome to attend and explore your doubts about Jesus / God. There are great kids clubs and you can get involved in local initiatives to help the community. I'm from a Baptist background and feel right at home in this small, lively, modern local church. It seems to me to have a good balance between supporting its members and using its energies for the good of the community with a youth project.

This is a beautiful church

Whilst I have not attended this church I would ask Reverend Rod Bevan and the Head teacher, Charlotte Hartley to show more consideration to the local residents when parking their vehicles. It wouldn't go amiss to remind their parishioners that the highway code applies to everyone and yellow lines are there for a purpose. After all, children learn by example. I have photographic evidence of two vehicles parked on yellow lines immediately in front of the reception area. The parents were dropping the children off for the breakfast club. Hopefully, after a word, all your delinquent parishioners, will not only show consideration but adhere to the highway code. I live in hope.

Good toddler group on Thursday morning but parking is a problem. Some people will park anywhere

Big church with ample parking nearby. Attended mum and toddler group which is held in a smaller room which has plenty of toys for little ones and hot drink making facilities.

Such a lovely community feel here. You are made to feel so welcome. I attend 2 baby classes with my daughter and they are great. Also the online things they did over lockdown were also great. We did the valentines love themed session.

Very enjoyable service, even as a visitor. Engaging message, and a good range of ages represented. I would gladly go again.
