St. Peter's Church

Beautiful church, originally built for the local fisherman. Recently undergone extensive renovations.
The exposed brickwork is stunning as is the location.

St. Peter's Church is steeped in history and it is beautiful. The brickwork is fantastic and the renovation work is amazing. I received a warm welcome today and the atmosphere was great. The views are stunning and there were so many blossoms to admire and butterflies. Just to say there is wheelchair access. I really enjoyed the organ recital. I took part in their Summer Fayre and had a wonderful time. (Had an unexpected visit from a ladybird) The children certainly enjoyed the painting session, throwing the wet sponge at the Church Warden ( great person) and the Bouncy Castle.

Rich in decor & tradition; proud to be Anglo -Catholic: ie smells & bells! Lovely people guarantees a warm welcome.

Beautiful little church originally built for the fishermen of Foljestone in the Victorian era as they were regarded as too smelly for the main church in the town

Worshipped at St. Peter's for over 40 years. A good Anglo-Catholic church. Wonderful victorian architecture.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful Mariner's church overlooking Folkestone harbour. Don't be put off by the Anglo-Catholic "bells and smells" - the people are not at all stuffy but friendly and down to earth. Worth a visit to savour the calm and serene atmosphere.
