Beautiful church. The Sunday evening service was very nice.

I was here for three years as an undergraduate, and this Church benefited me enormously. The Bible is preached faithfully and fearlessly, and they are prepared to tackle even the most counter-cultural passages head on.

The Church family is really welcoming and supportive. I made some of my closest friends at this Church, and there is a real culture of openly talking about the Bible. The Sunday services in particular are great for people who have never been to Church before: they are only an hour long, and the service leaders are very good at explaining what is happening.

Because it is such a large Church, you do have to make a bit of an effort to form deep friendships - it is is easy to have great chat after a service then not see the person you met again for three weeks! For students, I would really recommend the Tuesday night Bible study group, Focus, to get to know people better.

Went here for for a wedding two weeks ago. The church service was upbeat and modern, with a good Christian message. The music was beautifully chosen and well played. Refreshing to see a young vicar who was dressed in a suit giving such a good address. There are toilet facilities should you need them. The church is an eclectic building which l think would appeal to most tastes.
Overall felt the service was one that would appeal to most people today, without overbearing religious ceremony and one where you would hear the message of Jesus!

This is a super church, it is arranged very much around a small centre stage and tightly packed. There are balconies and the though the area is not huge, the volume is, and the number of people in the congregation can be great. Although in Covid-19 times it is obviously not packed out. When I have been there in normal times, it makes me think of what every church on earth is supposed to be - a pointer to the gathering of everyone around Jesus in heaven, worshipping together. The dimensions of this building accurately allow this intended symbolism to be felt in a great way.

Yes, a 'Great' church. A warm community with Christ at the heart, faithfully growing Christ's disciples through sound Bible teaching and connected community life. A clear mission to the university, and yet a place of love for everyone.

Was all going well until the head of the church said Christianity was only ever passed through peace and love and "didn't have to resort to jihad" ... Clearly forgetting all of those crusades, inquisitions, holy wars, burning at the stakes etc. Also made an overly on the nose tokenism attempt parading for the crowd anyone slightly different from the vast majority of Cambridge "gowns" in attendance. Massively out of touch.

Evangelical Anglican church with excellent preaching, children's and youth work. Has a higher ministry to both home and international students.
