Absolutely love the building and the ground it sits on. Surrounded of ancient graves and old trees has a fantastic feeling. I personally would have loved to find a much more traditional atmosphere wen I visited last October (2017) and not feeling pressured to offer money as if it was the main interest of the preacher.. shame as it could be easily a 5 stars for me if they only would tone it done a bit and bring it back to what traditionally was meant to.. a place of prayer, a place where to find God, a place to find peace and feeling safe and love.

A rather workmanlike Victorian Gothic work by Street, 1880, which was a relocation of the old church to the south. The ruin of the latter is now a very pleasant "Garden of Remembrance", and the large churchyard has good specimen trees and a couple of interesting monumental tombs. The best thing in the church is the spectacular green marble and alabaster font, but the Thirties stone reredos is also an interesting piece of sculpture. Good to find the find kept open for visitors, even though Long Ditton has never been much of a place and is now just a rather isolated corner of Surbiton. Informative notice-board on the church's history.
