St John the Baptist Church, Hoxton

My impression after three visits is that this is a very friendly inclusive church of diverse peoples. There is an enthusiastic positive atmosphere and broad involvement from a wide cross section. Speakers were stimulating and motivating with a thought provoking depth of insight.
I loved the extemporaneous intercessions.
The musicians leading the contemporary praise and worship were clearly talented and included different age groups and styles. The pews were not the most comfortable but as time sped by very quickly this was hardly an issue.
Sound and A/V were good.The interior of the church building is quite impressive but better still were the smiles and welcome from this warm and dedicated bunch of believers!

I spent 80 meetings about data science with Toastmasters at St John’s church. I have nothing special to say about the church itself. However there some kind of nice equipment here to record music, display slides and video or screens at different locations inside the church. So the church accommodates events or professionals or clubs and they can use its amenities outside if the religious matter.

Perfect place in a perfect location, I couldn't recommend this place enough and everyone you meet there are always so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. The garden surrounding it is great for relaxing too, though dog owners feel the need to take it over so unable to enjoy the gardens but the inside building is lovely.

Used an app to get a parking space there. When I arrived there were a few spaces left, but the entrance is very narrow, even for my hatchback and there wasn't that much room to maneuver as there was a construction site right in front of the entrance, so bear that in mind. Prices are ok.

We use the church car parking facility when visiting Moorfields Eye Hospital. It's a convenient 10 mins walk to the hospital. CCTV is onsite for security. We book via the Just Park app.

Lovely local Church. Great community space. Playground for the school kids and peaceful garden to sit stop and think.

Technically we love the parking here since we are not part of this congregation. But parking wise. Conveniently located nearby to a spot we regularly have to attend in town.
Hourly rate is fair for this area and is a very practical spot for us to park. Would park again :)
