I have only been to this church as a wedding videographer. The grounds are well kept, and appropriate. Inside, the church is spacious with a seperate children's area. The paster somehow draws you in to his talks, and involves the children on a visual level. He has a big personality and easy to chat with.
The small damp area close to the main door needs attention, yet it also adds to the buildings character.
Access by car is poor. Therefore, use the main car park, and walk a couple hundred meters up the tranquil horse-drawn carriage path. This is a popular place for weddings, and a majestic gem for Cockermouth.

Rented a flat next door to the church. Buildings were beautiful and grave yard was both chilling and heartwarming. So many families and so much local history. Only regret was that it was always locked during our visit...we would have loved to go inside for a view and some quiet time.

It's a place where everyone can enter and pray. At a service the regular church goers were friendly to a stranger. The clergyman reinforced that the practice of Christianity was predicated on love and forgiveness.

A place of peace and tranquility. Perfect on a rainy day for quiet contemplation. You may even find Christ! He's been standing next to you waiting for an invitation!

Visited the Church whilst on holiday. A beautiful building with a stunning stained glass window. Have visited on previous occasions and always made to feel welcome.
