Ottery St Mary Parish Church

We love this church. Beatifull souroundings and loads of history. Have a look at the old clock mechanism, still working after centuries.
We are biased, as our relatives who lived in the village, must have come to this church 3 generations ago.
The local historical museum, across the road, opens this April (2019). We'll be back.

An amazing church with remarkable community!
You will be truly welcomed and encouraged to see, feel and enjoy of the great spirit of the parishes there. During the pandemic people have created an amazing carpet, and each part have been made by different person. That incredible hand made work tell us a story for patience, believe, and hope.

This is a beautiful church. Highly decorated, beautifully looked after and very peaceful. Well worth a visit. Probably the best church I've ever seen.
