Well, I see I am going to be posting as John Cartilege, interesting, but incorrect. John is a Missionary friend in Ghana, I'm not sure how that happened!!
We were married here in 1972, my wife was a 'River' girl and we met in the Royal Navy. We were back in Dover for the wedding of our niece and with a morning free from all commitments we visited places from our shared past.
We wandered in to find a much changed Church, beautifully remodeled to provide so much more than we remembered. A warm welcome form (Pastor) Andrew and a group of male 'workers' preparing for a 'Cafe Style' Church the following day. A short, quiet prayer time, and the good feeling of sharing minutes with fellow Christians in a busy world.
Every blessing and may GOD richly reward your Kingdom work.

Just attended our Granddaughter's nativity play here in the church Lots of proud parents and grandparents watching the play unfold. Also a great feature was the large screen so if you could not quite see the front you could watch with no interruptions. And afterwards drinks and cake were on offer. Lovely occasion.

Love home bargains but as with many other stores, they get you interested in a product then fail to restock it for week's if at all !! In these unreliable times and poor management that really are only managers in name, you have got to shop around and accept/expect poor service. Maybe I should have left out the r in poor !!
