Not only is this a beautiful building with a beautiful view, but it has a friendly and thoughtful congregation who seem to desire to move deeper with Christ, and see God's Kingdom come on earth as in Heaven. I attended a traditional morning worship with lovely classic and inspiring hymns and bells. However I understand that there are a variety of services in the parish.

Beautiful relaxing and welcoming church to visit when the day gets too much
Sit in peace and reflect on the day

The Church is nice and friendly. The tower though is spectacular, it is worth going up even at this time of year. But wrap up warm, it's bitterly cold in the winter but tou can see Beccles and the River Waveney.

We were in Beccles for the weekend and always like a poke around a church (architecture famous people, history etc). They were serving coffee, which they don't charge for, but you can donate if you want to. It was the Remembrance Day service and they made it very clear we were welcome to stay so we did. A very friendly, welcoming church.

Lovely church. With informative boards inside. Right in the heart of Beccles. Nice for some reflection and or prayer time.
If your not local, the quay side is about a ten min walk from the church and a nice visit, lots of boats to see and a nice park and free for the children / dogs.

If you like churches you'll like this one. Full of history and information. Apparently there's a memorial to George Crabbe (poet) and Lord Nelson's parents were married there but I haven't checked this out. Recommend a visit.
